Autism rates in Japan continued to rise after the withdrawal of MMR vaccine
Nov 23, 2016Vaccination is important. 4 million kids under 5 years old are still dying from the lack of access to vaccines. Here's a study on why they're vital.
A study conducted on 300,000 children showed Autism rates in Japan continued to rise after the withdrawal of MMR vaccine.
This is in contrast to the poorly designed study on 10,000 children, published in the Lancet in 1998.
Thimerosal (contains amounts of ethylmercury) has never been used in the manufacture of MMR vaccines and there is not a scientific link between ethylmercury and autism.
Varicella (Chickenpox), inactivated polio (IPV) and pneumococcal conjugate vaccines have also never contained Thimerosal.
Moreover, since 2001 Thimerosal has been removed from other childhood vaccine formulas.
